Loot Council in WoW Classic – and What GuildLoot Offers
With a loot council, a small group – usually guild and class leads – decides who gets an item. GuildLoot has no council voting, but it backs leadership decisions with data and a record.
What is a loot council?
A loot council is flexible and can weigh performance, attendance and group needs. To feel fair, it needs clear reasons – and attendance, preparation and a visible record help with exactly that.
How GuildLoot does it
- GuildLoot has no voting on items (no council vote).
- Guild or class leadership approves P0; leadership sets the priority levels, and the loot master hands out the items.
- After each award, the loot record in Discord shows item, recipient, reason and – if log data is available – attendance and preparation.
- The log analysis reads public Warcraft Logs reports without an account: world buffs, flasks and food, missing enchants, deaths and performance per player.
- An attendance check against Warcraft Logs is currently available for Classic Era (off by default).
- Priority history and the raid archive record what was entered and awarded.

Frequently asked questions
Does GuildLoot have council voting?
No. GuildLoot has no per-item voting; leadership decides on approvals such as P0, and the loot master hands out the items.
How can a decision be traced?
With the loot record in Discord: item, recipient, reason and – if log data is available – attendance and preparation.
Do I need an account for the log analysis?
No. A public report on warcraftlogs.com is enough.
Registration is free and there is no paid tier. You can also use parts of GuildLoot on their own, for example only the log analysis.
