Discord Raid Bot for WoW Classic Guilds
The GuildLoot bot posts raids in your Discord. Players sign up with a button, pick character and spec, and in Classic Era enter their priority or P0 right there.
What does a raid bot do?
A raid bot saves collecting sign-ups in lists or messages: the raid lead sees who is coming right away, and players never have to leave Discord.
How GuildLoot does it
- Invite without admin permissions: the bot only needs to view the channel, send messages, embed links, read message history and use slash commands. Some management commands require “Manage Server”.
- Raid post with buttons to sign up, for priority and P0, and a status menu; players pick character and spec from a list, with their player login the first time.
- In Classic Era, P0 can be entered in Discord with an item search, and leadership approves or declines it there.
- After each award, the bot can post a loot record in a chosen channel: item, recipient, reason in the loot system and – if log data is available – attendance and preparation.
- A guest bot offers raid sign-ups on servers without a GuildLoot guild (commands such as /raid erstellen), without priority, DKP or soft reserve.
- Discord sign-ups are available today for Classic Era and WoW Forever. An existing sign-up bot can keep running alongside.
Frequently asked questions
Does the bot need admin permissions?
No. It only needs permissions to read and write in the channel, embed links and use slash commands; some management commands require “Manage Server”.
Can I use the bot without a GuildLoot guild?
Yes, with the guest bot for raid sign-ups – then without priority, DKP or soft reserve.
What is in the loot record?
Item, recipient and reason in the loot system; if log data is available, also attendance and preparation.
Which versions support Discord sign-ups?
Classic Era and WoW Forever today.
Registration is free and there is no paid tier. You can also use parts of GuildLoot on their own, for example only the log analysis.
